The 1717 Design Group built their reputation creating engaging interpretive graphics for the museum community. Those skills for combining text and images have been successfully applied to a variety of outdoor projects. Interpretive signs, trail panels and wayside exhibits are all pedestrian-oriented signs that provide educational information about site-specific historic or environmental themes. They are often linked in a series to provide a complete self-guided experience.
